The media sector is now hyped up with news and speculations of mega media mergers within the near future. Although a lot of financial experts claim that mega mergers among companies deliver critical blows to diverse ownership of media companies, media analysts state that such trends will continue as there are “old companies” seeking reinvention to achieve audience gains.

In 2007, News Corporation acquired DirecTV Satellite in a $6.6 billion merger. The move ushered in 11 million DirecTV subscribers to News Corporation’s already large audience. Google, on the other hand, agreed to purchase DoubleClick for $3.1 billion. Yahoo!, another Internet giant, confirmed talks of acquiring Right Media’s remaining 80% shares for $680 million. Other mergers are looming in the horizon.

Media reform groups have heavily criticized the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) ruling that strips away legal barriers against media expansions. On February 19, 2002, the FCC reversed the rule that prevents a media company from owning a broadcast station and a cable channel in the same city. The FCC also increased the number of broadcast TV stations a single company can own.

While media companies rejoiced at this development, financial experts and consumer welfare groups predicted that the said move would give rise to monopolies in the media industry unless reforms are made. Social experts say that the changes in the media landscape will have a big effect on how they shape public opinions, since big media corporations will eventually have the power to control the flow of information.

Executive Director Jeffery Chester of the Center for Digital Democracy said that loosening the reins on media and having them control almost every aspect of information diffusion is unhealthy to democracy and the spirit of competition.

Winclear :Not an especially good idea these days

A small piece of spyware can affect the individual’s PC very adversely. An affected PC rapidly becomes infected with wide arrays of spyware elements. Often, users notice unwanted degradation and behavior in their PC’s performance. Not an especially good idea these days.

Keyloggers, as it is clear from the name of the program, log keystrokes –but that’s not all. They capture everything the user is doing — keystrokes, mouse clicks, files opened and closed, sites visited. A little more sophisticated programs of this kind also capture text from windows and make screenshots (record everything displayed on the screen) – so the information is captured even if the user doesn’t type anything, just opens the views the file. When unsuspecting users visit malicious sites, various nasty applications are downloaded and executed on their computers. Unfortunately, more and more often these applications contain keyloggers–software programs for intercepting data. Data loggers, key loggers are just a few programs which harvest info from your computer. Winclear is the only program created specially to auto remove such spywares. If you have checked all the computers used to access your account with only an anti virus software we strongly recommend you use a software that specifically checks for Spyware and keyloggers. That is why every computer owner needs winclear.

Protect With Winclear rivacy Of Online Auctions
Have you run a complete virus scan of all computers used to access your account with updated anti-virus software? You should also check your computer for Spyware and Trojan keyloggers. Some people mistakenly assume that anti-virus software protects them from keyloggers and Spyware. Most anti-virus software does not adequately check for keyloggers and Spyware. Winclear is the only software which is capable of removing keylogger programs. For those with multiple logins this can be convenient and time saving. Winclear has been the industry leader in fighting keyloggers for the last 8 years.

Winclear:
Make sure that malware doesn’t take over your computer. That is the reason why you need Winclear installed onto your computer. As the spyware fighters get better the hackers try harder and harder. Protect your computer security by using Winclear! More about Winclear here: Winclear.
