First, I’m not a spineless cheesball bachelor, habitually satisfied by sitting at home solo every weekend. I’d bet you probably never pegged me to write a talk much about great dating and companionship. No surprise.

Idleness is a fixable foreign condition and totally missing from my values. However, There’s no point avoiding it, I had to escape from a special relationship which meant a lot for us but essentially wasn’t meant to be. So one could tell ya it may have been ages since I was dating. I don’t have the great expectations that came naturally before.

Single life has had its perks so far. It’s a given that I don’t know how to spend another weekend undisturbed, devowering Lost reruns. The primary factor behind this case of occasional dating loneliness? The people I know are settling down, and there are fewer available women.

My take-no-holds football friend, Andrew, who has never had dating lameness, sympathized because he is now shooting from the same blind as I am. He joinedGreat Expectations Dallas. Not usually my thing, but I enjoy getting to know attractive gals around my age. So I bit the bullet and paid the membership fee to get started.

I told myself, there ain’t room to feel down about being alone if you haven’t stepped off the bench. As my college baseball coach Jason Kniffen snuck into conversation grinning, “If you don’t run you can’t score, shooter.”

Coach was crazy, and a little out of touch. Regardles, Coach was a source of truth in a good old fashioned way. He was likable in all ways. The fun Dallas matchmaking service I joined definitely would have short circuted his noggin’.

Through great expectations I talked to a few substantive and attractive ladies that hold my eye. I truthfully had a good time with a few indisputably noteworthy people. Went home with a promising exchange of numbers, in addition to the fact that I came across some social networking relationships for my career. I’m impressed.

Put yourself in the play. You won’t be happy if you don’t try. Take it from me, believe in your own great expectations for your dating life.

Respectfully,

Larry D.
