Be a Part of the Outfit Such as Formal Ladies Shoes
I think it is quite important when shopping for a coat that you know exactly what you want from it and what you are going to wear with it. We don’t all have money to go and buy coats for every occasion, so we very likely end up just having one or two coats that we mix and match with. I, for example, only have one coat. It lives in the back of the cupboard and only comes out for job interviews or times when I have to wear a suit and look smart and only in the winter. The rest of the year I either use cardigans or a waterproof jacket to keep me warm and dry. When I bought the coat I knew exactly what I needed it for. I knew it was going to be for smart use and I knew it would have to last a lifetime. I therefore put on my formal ladies shoes and a suit in order to go and buy this coat. It was important that it would be big enough to fit over a suit jacket and it definitely had to match the shoes I was wearing. I could have put on a pair of boots but boots and coats tend to work pretty well together, regardless of the style, so I thought it would be safest to wear the formal ladies shoes.
