BT Improves Its Broadband Customer Support
BT has recently started a new kind of service for its customers, which provides support through live chat. It is believed that this service will be more effective as compared to other forms of customer support services in terms of offering help easily, resolving queries, and making purchases conveniently.
The live chat service was initially started to serve those customers who have a problem communicating over the phone. The company claims that the service available on www.BT.com/inclusion has dedicated consultants available, who respond as soon as queries are typed in.
A number of topics are covered by these advisors. These include doubts relating to billing, account changes, broadband connection migration, suggestions on various products and services, or accessing BT support materials.
Talking about this development, Warren Buckley, Director of Strategy and eServices at BT, said that the company realises that it is not possible for everyone to communicate over the phone. Thus, the chat includes one more option in the list of available customer service methods, where a professional is available to solve problems and answer queries.
The service has been recognised by the likes of Hearing Concern Link. Happy with the fact that even customers with a disability can access such a service, it has now asked Ofcom to promote such services through other providers as well – click here for more information on broadband providers uk.
BT’s Live Chat is available from 10am-5pm on all working days of the week. To access this service, one needs to go to BT’s Inclusion website and click on the ‘Chat to us Live’ link to begin a chat with a consultant.
