Why Is Search Engine Optimisation so Hard?
I guess there are very valid reasons why when you look on one search engine the results can be incredibly different than if you looked to another search engine. With search engine optimisation there are countless ways that search engines could classify your website. One engine may have pigeon holed your site as too wordy and perhaps thought your was being manipulated by a webmaster able to use catchy keywords to keep the link fresh. Another engine may not notice anything wrong with your site and it could immediately be placed on the top of their results. If there was just one search engine who knows what you would find. This way it is all open to interpretation.
I will be forever mystified by the way computer programmers work. I was reading recently on search engine optimisation and there is no end to what these search engines can figure out. On the flip side there are countless number of programmers trying to figure out how to crack the code and get their websites the most amount of traffic. To understand this programming is just mind boggling. To build a computer program that thinks like a person, perhaps even uses better grammar and then make that program understand complete websites is in itself a feat. And we use this program everyday.
